Hey all,

It’s been a few months. Some updates:

1. You may have noticed the new digs. After talking with a few people, including Matt Lombardo (editor of the always excellent “Between the Hashmarks”), I decided to switch from Substack to Beehiiv. Not sure you guys necessarily want a reason, but after communicating with people in the industry (and others), I found some troubling aspects when it came to the old platform. Google it if you want. Anyway, here we are now. I’ll leave the old site up and running for a bit, but all the old stuff is already here, and this is where I’ll be posting moving forward. I’m still trying to figure everything out, so there may be a few hiccups here and there before things are completely squared away. The good news is that you guys won’t have to do anything, because Beehiiv made it super easy to import the mailing list. Newsletters will still go out per usual.

2. We’re still going to be doing the same things; mostly Patriots’ related pieces, as well as anything that might augment my coverage of the team in The Boston Globe. (That includes some of the behind-the-scenes stuff, which got great traffic in the past.) There’s also going to be a healthy dose of any other dopey things that might come across the radar. It’s just going to be over here now. To that end, I’m going to jump back into publishing on a semi-regular basis, with more posts as we get closer to training camp at the end of July. 

3. Another reason I’ve been away is that I’ve been working on another book project, one you can pre-order here (if you haven’t already). That one is set to be released in the fall. I’m also working on another book proposal, and I’m hoping to be able to announce something new here in the next few months.
